Today, as I was on the road, I simply had to stop whatever I was doing to watch this beautiful sight of Mother Nature. The storm was approaching and I was still at the end of where the day was clear and bright. It isn't every day one gets to see the clear division between llight and darkness in the sky.

Whenever I utter the words "I love you" to anyone, I see them not as a 'body' but as myself. To "LOVE" is to rise beyond impermanence. There is only one LOVE pulsating throughout the Universe, only taking its shape in different forms.

Just finished digging another hole to bury yet another dead animal. My garden, though huge, is probably running out of space to bury the dead animals as a result of other people's mistakes.

I received a story from a disciple that touched my heart deeply few days ago. Two people who enquired one staff member about the Yoga courses had apparently asked if the Sandhya Maarga meditation sessions conducted at the Sandhya Maarga centres are religiously-inclined: "Does the meditation practised here have something to do with religion?"

While having lunch, I overheard the next table discussing about Yoga. This, no doubt, captivated my attention. One Chinese lady asked if Yoga is related to religion. The other Indian lady replied no. According to her, although it originates from India, Yoga is more of a cultural practice. I did not agree with this answer of course. If Yoga is a cultural practice in India, why do we not see majority of the Indian households practicing Yoga?

Licks, licks and more licks. These are exactly what my puppies do. They are up to new tricks every single day. Whenever I sit at the entrance of the house, all of them will pounce on me at once to lick me. Kiara would lick my ears, and the rest would lick my hair, face, hands and feet.

Why then, people ask, do we have murder, robbery etc. in this world? While love is the operating power that moves us all, it can be masked by many forms. Whenever something 'unfavourable' comes into my experience, I always look for the 'favourable' side of it. In every experience, there is always something to thank for.

It still takes some 'getting used to' for such short hair. The last I had hair this short was more than 11 years ago. The hairdresser held my long hair in one hand and the 'hair murder weapon' in the other. He gladly chopped off so many metres in one go.

There is more to your mother than her fine cooking, ability to maintain a clean and cosy home, washing your clothes and making sure you aren't late for school or work. If you can see your mother's role only for such petty reasons, you might as well just get yourself a robot. Behind this incredible 'machine-woman' is a beating heart, whose feelings can be hurt.

Just because one drives an old car does not make him/her poor. Similarly, just because one drives a flashy new car does not make him/her rich as well. Another milestone today. One of my puppies, Kiara, now knows how to nudge me with her paw to ask for food. I was cutting carrots in the kitchen and I felt a soft fury paw touching my leg. I looked down at her and she stared at me. Ignoring it, I continued cutting the carrots to cook them their porridge.

As our academy is promoting a one-week online weight loss challenge, I too have participated in the diet plan to show my support. After all, we must always walk the talk. I am really sorry folks. It has been some time since I updated about my progress with the book-writing project. I've been having a hectic time travelling for the past one week. At the moment, I am writing to you from Brunei Darussalam, a small and sleepy oil-rich country on the map at the tip of the Borneo Island. Someone from France asked me earlier today as to why I'm here.

Today, on the worldly calendar, is Makar Sankranti! Ponggalo Ponggal! Sankranti is not merely about a harvest festival that has to do with farming or worldly abundance and prosperity. It has nothing to do with its physical ritual counterpart of overflowing milk from a vessel. The entire process is symbolic in nature if only one understands their significance.
